I thought maybe there’d be some sort of middle ground, but no, it’s all Israel’s fault and those poor innocent folks in Gaza are all suffering now, I give up, it’s beyond repair here. |
I've tried to comnent on this awful situation as sensitively as I can and have read with interest comments from a range of posters with opposing views, but I have to draw a line when the comments are complete bobbins.
Who has even said the comments you are alluding to?
In the main I'm seeing impassioned calls for restraint on the current siege, whilst wholehearted calling out the barbaric actions of Hamas.
I don't know you, but I have to question your motives. I can barely accept your comments as gracious or meaningful, but I will in the spirit of free speach. I can only imagine what this character has been saying.
Theoretically only, we could have a working two state solution here if enough people used the ignore feature. Nothing specific, but I'm pretty sure certain yellow and greeny-coloured trolls are trying to twist very bad international events into their attempts at football trolling, which, if I'm right (and I may well not be) I find utterly despicable. |

If you read the thread and the room, it reeks of anger towards Israel, no other way to view it. I disagree with a number of the views expressed here, which seem far more embedded in historic beliefs and opinions, rather than recent events.
I see nobody has bothered looking wider than Gaza/Israel for answers, why did Hamas decide to attack now? Anything to do with Saudi relations improving with Israel by chance? Something which is widely viewed as detrimental to Hamas’ cause? |

I think they found it increasingly difficult to troll with football posts because everyone cottoned onto it and it's more difficult to do when there very little to moan at or be divisive at within the club.

If 47% of the population are kids and 50%'ish of the population voted for Hamas, then you're indicating that pretty much the entire voting age population of Gaza firmly support (and voted for) a violent, terrorist organisation, that wages religious jihad in the pursuit of the destruction of Israel, who just committed horrendous atrocities.
