So, coming to this thread late, as is often my wont, it seems that we're collectively wanting a win, a loss or a draw - which sounds like a good place to be.
We’re all Leicester tonight? (n/t) on 08:16 - Nov 3 by Herbivore
I don't get this. I'd much prefer a draw, gives us a chance to be level with Leicester on Tuesday night whilst still extending the gap to Leeds. I think a mindset that sees us wanting to chase the team above us is much more healthy than seeking to defend against those below us.
And winning the title would be a glorious cherry on top of the cake *if* we were able to manage automatic promotion ...
Think people who don’t want a Leicester win tonight are a bit silly.
If we’re honest no one expected us to be where be are, if we were offered 2nd now everyone would take it so let’s make the gap between us and 3rd as big as possible and as quickly as possible.
Besides, if we manage to beat Leicester twice and carry on how we are we’ll go above them.
I doubt anyone is going to cry at finishing second come May, well not sad tears anyway.

Yeah probably a bit much.
But Luke Ayling.
Maybe someone can simply cut off his stupid hair?

That would be the ultimate pitch invasion, a couple of supporters supporting a barber's chair, someone else with a wrap of scissors and razors, someone else carrying the Barbicide. Three to hold Ayling down and one to chop off the mop. Oh, and someone to carry the mirror and hold it behind to show him how the back looks. Has to be performed in the centre circle.

….but anyone that wants a Leeds win is a massive bellend.

I'll have to remain a bit silly then, as I still want a draw from the Leicester - Leeds game.
If it's a draw, Leeds would gain a point on us tonight, but a win for us tomorrow would mean we've gained 2 points on them from this weekend making the gap 11 points to Leeds, still with a game in hand. Southampton, Cardiff or even Hull could go above Leeds if they win meaning the gap to 3rd would be either 10 or 11 points rather than the 9 it is currently.
We'll have also gained 2 points on Leicester as well, with a game in hand, which if we also win that, we'd be level on points with them, only behind on goal difference (unless we give either Birmingham or Rotherham an absolute pounding).

A draw is often a good result because it means one point getting lost to the system instead of adding to any rival teams' totals. Or you could see it as two rivals both dropping two points.

With Leeds recent away form, 2 defeats in last three games and only win 3-2, at Carrow Road , a draw would be a good result for them.

Unlikeliest ten pager of all time?
Its clear the actual best result now would be the game being called off and then delayed until the conclusion of this thread, or the end of the season, if that's sooner.

I don't care if we win the second tier any more than last season winning the third tier. What are we going to do with it next season? Start rocking up to the second placed team in the Premiership and singing "Champions of the Championship, you'll never sing that"? Embarrassing.
Order of preference: Leicester win, draw................. Leeds win.

Every piece of information I've seen so far suggests Leicester are far too good to finish outside the top two. They dominate every blade of grass outside the opposition box, much like how we enjoyed almost total control in League One. Even when teams are able to limit the damage through bloody hard work, a sizeable gap in quality allows them to consistently find winning moments without taking any undue risks. They're almost bulletproof from an injury perspective and their style of play is the easiest to replicate over an attritional season, given they clock fewer high intensity minutes than the chasing pack (particularly us). We've both been brilliant thus far, but how we've achieved our respective brilliance couldn't be more different, frankly. Suggestions from afar that Leicester will slow down feel akin to when other clubs said we couldn't continue our assault after February: based on optimism rather than evidence.
Onto tonight, Leeds are one of the few that can cause serious problems with their own quality and I'm rooting for Leicester 👍

How are they "bulletproof from an injury perspective"? Plenty of cover, or secret access to bionic spare parts?
