TEAM on 19:17 - Nov 7 by NthQldITFC | That's a massive call if it's tactical. Woolfy is close to the best centre half at this level, I would venture. Perhaps he has the bug? Axel needs to play a disciplined game and not get drawn into midfield today. IMcWT. |
If Woolfenden was ill then I thought Edmundson would be on the bench. McKenna randomly dropped Woolfenden last year as well - Morecambe home and away. Maybe Rotherham will be the opponents this season.

TEAM on 19:02 - Nov 7 by Illinoisblue | Surprised Luongo is not rested. Wolfy on bench. Tuanzebe starting. In KMC we trust |
Lots of changes and Taylor still can't dislodge Luongo. At what point does he start getting narked off

TEAM on 19:13 - Nov 7 by yorkshireblue | Chap behind me at the bar just said “I don’t see what McKenna sees in Harness. Shouldn’t even be on the bench”. |
We know from on here that it is a game of opinions and some of them are much less valid than others.

TEAM on 19:27 - Nov 7 with 1500 views | Trequartista | I don't think Broadhead was in the game much against either Plymouth or Birmingham so not surprised to see Harness in and wouldn't be surprised if he's just dropped rather than ill. Thought Taylor might get a chance and Hutchinson is unlucky. Surprised to see Woolfenden dropped but i would think that's tactical in that Tuanzebe and Burgess are our most physically powerful centre-backs. Edit:Broadhead is ill. Wonder if he would have started in place in Harness. I think he would have been on the bench. [Post edited 7 Nov 2023 19:35]

When he's shown he understands our style and not what posh played. Massive difference in his roles here imo He's absolutely fine imo facing their goal and driving forwards.. but he's not quite got the facing his own goal balance. It'll come.

No. The ex-Brantham one. How do you want to define a youth player?

TEAM on 19:17 - Nov 7 by FrimleyBlue | You don't drop one of the best at defending headers in a game v rotherham. Wolfy prob ill. |
Maybe not i'll but not 100% Might be a few of the squad like that. Burgess makes sense for the reasons stated and although i'd like to have seen Taylor that's probably one too many changes with that back four quite new to each other.

I'd say hutch is better in the battle than Jackson tho.

Methinks you've got your first team confused with you second team. But which way round is it?

Because he, a player with a patchy injury record, is not featuring in a rescheduled midweek game in an already busy period of fixtures? There's a hot take!!

TEAM on 19:16 - Nov 7 by Swansea_Blue | No really. Woolf is the only possible tactical change and even then we don’t know if he’s struggling with illness or a knock. |
Given the precautions we've been taking I'd be surprised if Woolfenden's ill/injured and still on the bench. He's been superb so far and if there's any goal conceded from a defensive error/lack of organisation it's an open goal for criticism. Guess two games so quickly is seen as a strain on Omari as I'd liked to have seen him in as think we could do with someone who looks after the ball well. For all his goalscoring exploits it's not something Harness is very good at and Jackson can be a bit erratic on that front as well. Anyway, Rotherham fans seem very down on their line-up so hopefully none of the above matters and it's a nice 3 points!

If we're not counting Clarke as he left Ipswich when he was 15, then probably Morecambe at home on 24th January 2023. Which is a reoccuring answer this evening.

A lot of teams do rest their best players from the first week of November in anticipation of selling them in January, though!

TEAM on 19:44 - Nov 7 with 1154 views | NthQldITFC | I can see a very tasty last half hour forward line with Harness moving central to replace a shagged out hat-trick hero Chappers, thus: Hutch - Harness - Scarlett ---------- Ladapo
