But he's not a gambling man!

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

There's a security services raid happening at 55 Tufton Street at the same time?

Personally I'm not ruling out some sort of emergency legislation or suchlike, under the guise of protecting MPs etc., which further restricts the right to protest.

Even though it would ease tensions. You would think the Conservative Party don't care about anything but themselves at the moment.

Absolutely staggering made up nonsense so far. Escalating the culture wars and claiming that protests have "gone too far" and that people are scared to wear their school uniforms.

Classic fascist policy. Create an enemy to direct anger against.

The damage to democracy over the last ten years has been caused by the utter disregard for integrity in public office, flagrant discarding of constitutional conventions, and the second change of government without election. Among many other things in the control of him and his cronies.

If its democracy you care about Rishi, hold a fecking election.

Okay- I am at a complete loss now.

He's making up a monster that the vast majority of us do not recognise. Living in some strange parallel world of mob rule. Doesnt seem to be real in any way.

And the point of the speech? Who knows. He seemed set to say that he was going to introduce something. But then it all just petered out.

What he actually addressed was Jewish school children fearful to wear their uniforms and Muslim women being abused in the street for for the actions of terrorist group they have no connection with.

I note you completely left out the second part because it doesn't fit your agenda.

They could do the Cup draw like this, outside No.10, bring back the velvet back, bit of politics that doesn't change anything, then the 2 leaders pull out the balls.

Sunak is such a snake. Really seems to think the country is filled with complete idiots who will believe anything he says. The way he talks to the people and comes out with complete rubbish as if anything he says will be swallowed by the thickos who are beneath him really sickens me.

I hope they suffer the worst election defeat in history and he loses his seat.

He'd look a lot more convincingly concerned about extremists if he hadn't been part of a government that's been happily and increasingly openly stoking this kind of hatred for nearly 15 years now.

And hadn't had to suspend a number of ministers for inflammatory comments.

Or failed to suspend any number of other ones openly spouting far right conspiracy b0ll0cks

Or made a transphobic jibe in front of the parents of a murdered trans kid.

In the past few weeks alone.
