Didn't think of that, large amount of key players at the Euros for Liverpool and City who will go deep into the tournament.
Also think of the Olympics!
Can't imagine many of our players partaking in those so I fancy us to be fresher, fitter, stronger in August than most.

As many points as possible would be nice of course, but focussing on the points isn’t important imo. Those games are about coming to terms with the league. What we learn and how we respond (tactically and mentally) will be far more important. |  |

Impossible to say when we haven't even brought any new players in. If it were our current squad you'd absolutely snap your hands off for those points, but we have no idea what the team will look like by August 17th. We might fancy our chances of a few more points by then. |  |
