I don't think for a second the Villa thing falls through and he does come here, but fwiw, if that did happen a pre-requisite of any deal should be 'sack your agent'. |  |

I hadn't realised he'd spent 5 1/2 years at Villa. Assuming they put in some clauses when they sold him to Hull, Villa must be in pole position to sign him & can presumably offer a much better contract than Town can, even if he doesn't get much game time there. |  |
