Twelvety.
Brighton looked decent but not sure how much of that was the unflushable turd that is Everton. Southampton we obviously doubled last year. Our ‘weakness’ was at the back last year but Woolfie looked good and Greaves class.
I’m feeling optimistic, but I do feel we will get better as the season goes on. Lots of new players to bed in, and will take a while till we are the finely honed goal machine of the last couple of years. Plenty of quality through the door, ironically I’m still most excited about seeing Hutch in the PL he oozed quality on Sat. | | | |

I think we may take a while to get going this season, or at least a while before endeavour materialises into the results we need. Which is not the same as saying I think we're remotely a lost cause by the way. Only really expecting a couple of points from this lot and, like you, I'd probably settle for four now. | |

Exactly. Got to be looking to get something from all of our home games except the top 3-4 and something from Southampton away. 5 points should be a minimum and only more than 7 would see me "delighted". Below a point per game after 7 matches would be ominous even if we have got one match against both Liverpool and Man City out of the way. |  |

Not strictly true. 1 point per game is increasingly enough these days.
I think we could realistically be sitting on 4 points after our first 6 games, which may sound doom and gloom, but we'll have faced three of last season's top 4 in that run of fixtures. | | | |

I'd say 2 is realistic, we've done a double jump and trying to replace most of the first choice 11, Fulham will not be the easy game many think, it's going to be a long hard season, I just hope we don't have many players away on the international break so KM can get across what we wants them to do.
