Surely they’re in trouble this season.

What a wonderful mess they are. Hopefully this is finally the year they fall through the trapdoor.

Think Dyche will have enough about him to keep them up.

Southampton as well if Martin stubbornly persists with playing out of defence continuously regardless of how hard they get pressed.

Wonderful to see. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke, sacked by Christmas.

Talksport was interesting tonight as I was driving around. One caller who is a Goodison season ticket holder for 60 years said if Dyche was still in place after the break the season ticket will be ripped up.

With another stating a stat that Dyche during his EPL tenure over first 5 games in those season which was something like 48 games he has won 7. So is always a slow starter...

Dyche is not evil. There is no moral or ethical outrage. In that context, threatening to rip up a season ticket after 60 years is just childish nonsense. This is when that team needs its fans more than ever. It's natural that when there is a long, drawn out decline, season ticket sales may dwindle. But once you've bought one, I've always thought it ridiculous to rip it up. Everton have only had two league games at home out of 19. I hope the players have more patience than this fan.

From ITFC's point of view, we need at least one team who avoided the drop last year to go down this year. Maybe Everton, maybe Wolves. So I'm personally quite happy that their camp is not a contented one. The fact that they were prepared to roll the dice on a less than fit Broja is hopefully a sign of their desperation rather than our timidity.

I hope not. They might be better with a different manager. Martin to see relegation through 🤞, blaming everyone but himself progressively more as the season drags on!

Said to someone yesterday they remind me of Villa 8 or so years ago when the bottom finally fell out and they ended up miles adrift. Here’s hoping anyway

We should not be wanting other teams to get relegated we should be wanting our team to be clear of relegation.

That was what worried me - if the highlights were representative, if they cut out the ridiculous last ten minutes they looked miles better than Bournemouth.

Now that might just indicate that Bournemouth are really poor…

Nonsense. We are a newly promoted team and facing a huge challenge. Any help the likes of Everton can give us by being useless is more than welcome.

Nobody in the division is really poor, unfortuantely.

Their fans must be worried. It will be interesting seeing how they get on. Their run of games are:

Home: Palace, Newcastle, Fulham, Brentford
Away: Villa, Leicester, Ipswich, Southampton, West Ham

If that was us, we'd be expecting some wins from that lot. After that, their December and January are looking really tough.

I've seen they might get another points deduction too.

Hopefully. But not to get carried away, they lost their first three last season and had points deductions yet still stayed uop.

There have been a few times this season where I've questioned our approach to playing out from the back. It can be a dangerous game.
