I don't rate many of our new signings outside of Greaves and Delap (ignoring Hutch as he was here last season), but I wouldn't celebrate any of them picking up an injury.
And, as said above, the game seemed to swing on him going off injured. Burns didn't offer nearly the same amount of assistance nor as an outlet to Clarke and the game drifted to Brentford accordingly.
Hope Ogbene is back fighting for and ready to play sooner than expected. |  |

That's exactly how patients report an avhilkes tendon rupture...usually thr vhassicd phrase of " I heard what I thought was a gun shot, and felt like I'd been kicked in the back of the leg, then the pain hits".
Exactly the same happened to me. I found tound yo see who had kicked me, ( no one there). Felt an intense pain in my calf, tried to run and felt my heel slap to the floor as I'd pushed off my toes to run. Went down like a sack of s....
It took me 9 months to recover and in those days they surgically repaired it, and serial casted your foot over a 3 month period. You were non weight bearing for months. Not so sure they do this now. They tend to put you in a Beckham Boot, get you weight bearing and leg nature do the rest. |
