Anyone know when TWTD first appeared online ? I’m sure I remember checking it out sometime around 1997 or am I misremembering?

Pretty sure I was regularly online there by 1999, are any posters still using their user name from the first ever sign up ?

I’m sure Phil or Gav can fill in the gaps ?

I started looking in ‘97 because I remember starting a new job and having loads of time in my hands, as the boss was useless. I’m not sure if I posted then. Probably did, but couldn’t say what my user name was. I won’t have been Swanners until at least 2005/6 season.

In some form or other back to the 95-96 season which was my first year at uni for me. Back then to see comments on matches meant making a walk to the library to access a computer, less immediacy possibly added more depth.

So 92 to 96 I worked for my first proper employer and a couple of years in they put 2 interweb connected computers in the staff canteen and we were allowed to surf in our lunch hour.

So I reckon I was defo posting (as WilnecoteBlue) in your first year, before many on here were even born.
