Another shocking performance from the ref last night... 07:38 - Dec 4 with 3512 views | Jimmy86 | Yes, we weren't at our best, you could even argue that we were poor, but the ref was absolutely shocking, yet again.. Palace were streetwise, but every time their player went down the ref bought it.. He allowed Henderson to take an age over every goal kick.. he'd then wave him on to hurry up.. no warning, no booking.. worse still he didn't even add the time on at the end.. Where on earth did he get 3 mins of time added on at the end from?! Yes we can't keep blaming the ref, we need to start doing it soon, as we will get relegated otherwise... Another shocking performance from the ref last night... on 07:46 - Dec 4 with 2872 views | hatch | Didn’t think he was that bad to be honest. The game flowed poorly but I think our sloppy and often backwards play was the main cause of that. Palace pressed hard and nipped at our heels, think we had plenty of fouls given on our CMs and not sure where any additional minutes over 3 would have come from? No injury stoppages etc.
Another shocking performance from the ref last night... on 07:50 - Dec 4 with 2842 views | Illinoisblue | Henderson should have been booked for sure - although when has a goalie being booked ever made any difference to anything in the universe? We need to learn quickly, very quickly, how to be street wise and win those fouls that aren’t really fouls but are fouls that other teams seem to be very good at getting.

A couple of times Palace players went down ‘injured’ for over a minute but insisted they didn’t need the physio because they didn’t want to go off. The ref just stood there looking at them.
Another shocking performance from the ref last night... on 07:55 - Dec 4 with 2795 views | Swansea_Blue | I was surprised to see only 3 mins. Quite pleased in a way, as it’s been getting ridiculous. It’s always been a game where reasonable stoppages are included in the 45. It didn’t really matter anyway, as we could still be there and not have scored.

I think the frustrating thing for me, was that every time their player felt even the slightest bit of contact they went down and he bought it.. every single time! On the flip side to that we had more blatant fouls against us, right in front of him and he didn't give it! He was the complete opposite to a homer...

Did little wrong. The 3 minutes was inexplicable though, compared with other games this season and when he actively claimed to have stopped the watch for a feigned injury which took at least a minute, during the time added on.
Another shocking performance from the ref last night... on 08:09 - Dec 4 with 2661 views | gringoblue | I didn't think he was shocking, but he could easily have sent off Doucoure. The second trip on Cajuste was deliberately stopping a break, just like the trip on Clarke was. I am sure that influenced Glasner subbing him at half time. [Post edited 4 Dec 2024 9:09]

Must have been watching a different game to me then... He missed fouls on our lads, that he gave the other way if it happened to them.. simply because our lads didn't go down and roll around.. he was bad.. maybe not Tim Robinson bad, but he was still bad...
Another shocking performance from the ref last night... on 08:11 - Dec 4 with 2635 views | Dubtractor | I thought he was a very frustrating ref tbh. Allowed them to get away with any number of cynical, break stopping, fouls, without bookings. And 3 mins at the end was a joke, given the amount of time wasting. They took 2 minutes celebrating the goal ffs. Even with the 3 minutes, palace wasted most of it, with an 'injury' and taking an offside free kick. I'm not a blame the ref bloke as a rule, and seemingly on a minority in thinking the ref at forest was fine, but last night he allowed palace to take the p1ss a bit. [Post edited 4 Dec 2024 8:16]

There were plenty of subs.. there were plenty of stoppages when palace players went down and feigned injury.. Henderson taking an age over every set piece.. for Pawson to wave him on.. I mean, wave him on once, maybe twice.. then warn him, then book him... Last season Hladky was booked 4 times for time wasting.. and that wasn't as blatant as Henderson was last night! We can't keep blaming the ref.. we need to be better ourselves, but the ref was poor in my opinion and we don't seem to have any player capable of getting in the refs ear during games and McKenna very rarely has a pop at a ref either... Sometimes they need a volley..

So was I. Me and my friend always have a guess and I said 6. There were quite a few stoppages and a number of subs breaks so I thought it would be more. That said we could've had another 30 minutes and I don't think we would've scored.
Another shocking performance from the ref last night... on 08:37 - Dec 4 with 2465 views | FrimleyBlue | I thought he was quite good tbh, he was spot on with Morsy's continuous fouls from behind, but I was suprised he didn't book him eventually. But I felt he did alright overall.

Another shocking performance from the ref last night... on 08:43 - Dec 4 with 2423 views | Vaughan8 | I cannot believe we are criticising the ref. How Morsy and Delap didn't get booked I don't know. Henderson should have got booked but so should a lot of goalies. Just seems to be accepted again. The minutes added on always baffles me. 7 subs (which I thought was 30secs for each) plus players going down. Should have been a minimum of 5.

He was awful, they dived at the slightest contact and he fell for it every time, injury time was a joke, the 3 minutes was just the substitutions, there was so much time wasting from Henderson, it should have been at least double that.

Another shocking performance from the ref last night... on 09:22 - Dec 4 with 2148 views | Kievthegreat | I thought he made a few bad calls, but honestly there was nothing major enough to care about. Big thing for me was only 3 min when there was significant timewasting in the 2nd half. Seems completely inconsistent with every other ref in the PL.

This would have had a huge impact on the game too. They were swarming us when we had the ball, them going a man down for the whole second half would have really made it difficult for them to continue doing that.

Agreed.. I said above that it doesn't take anything away from the fact we were poor, or not at it.. but the ref was poor and there's no getting away from that

No sure we can moan about Palace managing the game , I think that's the modern phrase for it , Chaplin did it at Forest when they had got on top to take the heat out of the game . I do think that when a player goes to ground the Ref should offer him the trainer and if he declined that the Ref should insist the game restarts . Twice last night a Palace player was "injured" refused attention but was given time to recover . No trainer on on added time .

Their manager said Doucoure was subbed as he worried about a red card after the booking and subsequent foul.
