Omari needs an overlapper when he's on the right.
By the time omari started getting some joy down that side oshea dropped deep and didn't dare go past him. Then broady came on and it shut the door even more for his lef peg to cause problems.
That game however wasn't hutchinsons best. Some of his footballing decisions were astonishing for someone who's now had a fair share of senior games. |  |

Look the title draws the reaction. It’s a game we were almost certain to lose. We were very much closer than most, me included thought we run them. However there is absolutely no point taking apart our team player by player it serve no good for anyone. It’s KMck job to decide whose in and whose out.
It’s a team game at all times but in a game like this few forward players will get much credit. Like our defenders our forwards including Omari need to make better quicker decisions for us to survive. | |

I disagree. I’m not having a go at him. But for 20 mins or so he just played a simple ball every time he got it. No pushing forward, no attempt to take anyone one. Maybe he was under instruction, but it looked to the world to me like I was watching a player who didn’t want to make a mistake. |
Nowt wrong with that. We were at our best yesterday when we played short, sharp passes and moved well. Philips, Cajuste and Omari were key to that in the second half and moved us up the pitch.
I’m not sure what some people expect. It was going to be difficult for any of our players to take on the best defence in the league on their own. Odegaard could do it to us, but he’s one of the best ball carriers in the league and probably worth more than our whole first team combined.
Not that we didn’t make some bad decisions and rush things. We did. But that’s to be expected imo. |  |

100% this. He was always showing and constantly our out ball. Worked hard, constantly found space, tracked back too and did better at cutting out a cross on 90 mins than Johnson managed for their goal.
It was far from a bad game for him. Just lacking the end ball against a top side. | |
