Yeah he was. They’re also unbelievably entitled. Winning the league was an amazing achievement with everything coming together at the right time, Vardy hitting his peak, the arrival of Kante, etc. Thoroughly deserved. But that’s a bit of a freak - it’s not often when everything comes together. Even harder to the sustain and replicate; something they’ve been struggling with for a few years now. Where they are is a fair reflection of their level now. |

They were the very definition of a team that was too good to go down, but they did.

I do feel bad about it as we had to make the changes but I do feel for the original core. Won promotion, and a few aren't going to really get a chance from now. But it probably had to be done. |

He did have some success at Eindhoven, then allowed a shackled Man U team to go attacking. Hes clearly an attack minded manager, who needs a decent set of defender players and goalkeeper to keep the team solid when not attacking.
I knew they'd have problems when I saw him substitute their keeper around half time in his 5th match, could see he doesn't have good defensive tactical knowledge and is actually a bit clueless around that part of the game. So yes, a mad appointment. |  |

Their squad is really poor - even last year the depth wasn't great and they're without their best player from that team.
The poor form is just reversion to the mean - they were fortunate to beat Bournemouth on the balance of play and benefited from opposition red cards in their win against Southampton and draw at PR.
