I think its fair to say that all of our spidey senses sussed that something wasn't quite right with that one - the thread last night being the confirmation of it.
Re the comments on Zapers - they were the only current user I had blocked as they added nothing but sniping to the forum. Just tedious. There are plenty of posters I disagree with but will gladly engage with, we're not all the same after all, but others contribute lots of positive stuff to the forum too.

I must admit, when I saw this thread I immediately thought of another poster* who (to me) just seems to be on a wind up. Zappers I disagreed with, but at least seemed genuinely convinced by the Daily Mail-like stuff he posted.

Yeah, I saw that. I was a bit surprised to see Neversaydie go too, but it sounds like there was a thread last night that I missed. I didn’t realise Zapers had gone until this thread.

I didn't know that about Zapers. And whilst I didn't agree with him on much if anything, my last few interactions with him were very friendly which goes to prove that there is always some common ground that one can find.
