What makes you think they'll be cheerful revelations? I imagine it'll be tales of weirdos trying to hack the site and sending Phil abusive messages. I have a few tales to tell myself of oddballs I've encountered on here over the years.
There is one particular poster who keeps cumin back but isn't here long due to their abusiveness. Another evergreen was on here over the weekend but has departed. And if Phil was to bring in a registration fee there is one particular poster who has sneaked back on here so many times with new usernames that he wouldn't be able to footer the bill.

Well he was never abusive to anyone that I saw. His major crime seems to have been having negative opinions. I guess that's now frowned upon too. We want positive outlooks only. Noted!

Always got on really well with them, but then I suppose they were very left leaning, anti-racism types who didn’t have much time for Covid deniers, Trump, Farage, public stonings, shooting immigrants in boats, moaning about players taking the knee or that Yaxley Lemon chap.
Wasn’t ever gonna butt heads with them on those issues.

I'm a left leaning anti racism type that does have much time for all of the things you list below - but also think the negative, argumentative and at times unpleasant way they pushed that agenda was both out of order and also completely counterproductive to trying to change hearts and minds.

Oh I agree, they didn’t have any tolerance whatsoever for those with differing views.
It was fun though, watching them gradually coax the bigots into saying something utterly outrageous, but that’s very much old school politics now.
As you say, hearts and minds. I’m not convinced it will ever work, but willing to give it a try.
