I caught the second half live and have only just got around to checking the line ups to see when in the first half the new Spurs superstar Tel was substituted, he wasn't, just nondescript. Ange made a number of second half substitutions so I guess he was really concerned about the threats United posed but Amorim stayed true to his starting eleven until the dying minutes. We know the step in levels in this league compared to the Champ and I think yesterday was two very average teams cancelling each other out for the most. We still need to be at 100% to beat either of those IMHO. Not denying the fact that we could beat them but like I suggest , I believe we’d need to be at 100% for the full 90 minutes.
United are United and looking quite rudderless to be fair but Spurs do worry me with players coming back from injury. Knowing our luck there’ll have another 2-3 players back |  |

We need to approach every game with the mentality that we need to be at 100% and see where it takes us. At the start of the season we wouldn't have earmarked these two games as ones we might win, but we've won at Spurs and beaten Chelsea at home so we know we can beat some of the bigger teams on our day. United look so disjointed and Spurs are Spurs so if we turn up and perform at our best then we're in with a shout but they'll still be tough games, they all are at this level. |  |

Our performances and/or results against the bottom half have been poor in general - Southampton, Leicester (result), Wolves (performance from 1-1 onwards; for once we got lucky), West Ham, Everton, Manchester United (result, in hindsight), Palace.
Spurs in 12th is the first one where we played decently and picked up a good result.
Whereas with the top half, other than Newcastle at home, Liverpool away and the games against Manchester City, we've held our own. Maybe Brighton at home was disappointing after they scored. | |

Broady should have had a hattrick, we had our own waves of attacks but simply chose the wrong passing options at times and they did end up winning, but i've seen worse performances than what we gave v Southampton. | |

The thing with Wolves is they give teams chances. Although they have a genuine match-winner in Cunha, that's little comfort if they're conceding 2-3+ goals per game. | | | |
