Could Leicester sack their second manager this season? on 21:47 - Feb 21 with 3680 views | boroughblue | I suppose it’s possible, especially considering how damning this delegation could be with a potential points deduction and the amount of players who would then be looking to leave. Question as always is who do they get in? Genuinely, what manager would what this job considering those possibilities? I’m terms of the new manager bounce, rate that happens to a bottom 3/4 PL club, see wolves saints and Leicester themselves…

I thought the Van Nistelrooij appointment was peculiar as it was. A week before they sacked Steve Cooper - VN was still at Utd - so highly, highly unlikely Leicester had even considered approaching him. Very strange selection..

It would cost a fair bit, given he's only just started a 2.5 year contract.

He’s taken on a project and it probably needs a year for him to get his ideas across. He’ll come good…. Iin 6 months time.

Could Leicester sack their second manager this season? on 22:27 - Feb 21 with 3198 views | Nthsuffolkblue | How many points did their first managerial bounce achieve? I am more fearful they could get a proper manager in who could sort them out especially as we don't play them until 18 May.

Odd appointment yes. Why wouldn't he go there, though. He obviously thought he would do better than he has and he has made it abundantly clear that he isn't a manager but he would have done that wherever gave him the chance to one would assume. Can we hope they will move for Rooney or Lampard?

I think that's where my tinge of regret would be if we don't stay up. I feel we've had the opportunities to be much clearer. Sliding doors moments, potentially targeted the wrong sort of players for the job. I dunno.

Think each place is worth about £3M. So if we can finish above Leicester, that pays for nearly half of the Muric fee (which will probably have to be written off).

You spelt “and leaving in the thousands b4 half time” wrongly. RvN was clearly disappointed, he had a really long face.

First managerial opportunity and I would hazard a guess he’s found it far more difficult than he imagined. United produced some unbelievable players throughout a couple of decades but few have gone on to be good managers. Rooney, Keane, and now RVN. The exception being Mark Robins who did fantastically well at Coventry. I can’t help thinking that Van Nistelrooy would have been better following in the footsteps of our own Kmc, starting further down the pyramid and gaining his experience and knowledge there.
