Yep on their first goal, don’t think he was trying to hurt Saka but he was clearly frustrated, poor challenge. It's difficult to tackle without taking your foot off the ground. Unless you are suggesting the contact was 1 foot off the ground which it wasn't. He caught Saka on his heel. It was from behind and late which is why I guess it was given as a red but I maintain still that had it not been given, VAR doesn't ask for a second look. I think it's one that VAR goes with the ref's call either way. I don't think there was much expectation of a red card until the referee produced it. | |
