Disgraceful. Not real supporters. Would wager that many of them were not to be c seen during the tough times when the club needed its fans.

This is the primary reason Muric will not play for us again.

Anyone exhibiting such juvenile behaviour is not supporting the team, but undermining it.

I hope he is given his chance this season, best in the Champ two years ago and would be again this season. Also hope Kieran calls out the idiots who have booed our own player tonight.

Morons but it’s not surprising.

It also highlights why he needs to be gone though.

EDIT: Imagine going to a friendly & booing a player haha

Some people won’t like to hear it, but he’s still the best keeper at the club - and by some quite considerable distance.

Yeah agreed he’s superior keeper to Palmer.

I was hoping he would play this season but I'm not sure he will.

With less pressure on him I think we would retain the ball better.

Just made a heck of a save. Clawed the ball over from a certain goal, big reach out to the top right hand corner of his goal. Big applause.

I personally think it’s gone past that point … but hopefully McKenna will see past that (I’m sure he would) and give him another shot.

Hmmm... He has the highest ceiling: he had matches where he looked a very good Premier League goalkeeper and made saves which won us points.

He also has a lower floor: he made errors which cost us points.

I agree that it is moronic to boo him. Totally counter-productive, not least because the unusually large distance between his ceiling and floor speaks of confidence and mental strength issues or concentration lapses.

But, if I am honest, I would take peak ITFC career:

Wright (2000)
Bart
Begovic
Fulop
Alexander
Supple

Over him, of our Championship keepers.

I was concerned about going into our most recent Championship season with Hladky, and I have concerns about Muric.

Hladky proved me massively wrong. He had a couple of airhead moments that cost us, but his strengths massively outweighed his weaknesses.

If Town sign at least one more dominant midfielder, then I can see a future where Muric's command of his box far outweighs his occasional daydreams, especially if McKenna has learned that he can't expect him to Cruyff turn like Hladky, and just gives him permission to welly it when necessary, and allow our hopefully dominant midfielders to win the second ball.
