How much could we get for Al-Hamadi then? 10:39 - Jul 31 with 2781 views | tractorboy1978 | If Toulouse are genuinely interested then we might be surprised! Wycombe seem to be wanting upwards of £5m for Kone.

How much could we get for Al-Hamadi then? on 10:43 - Jul 31 with 2652 views | portmanking | If we could get £4m+ for AAH and Kone for only £1m more, that feels an incredibly savvy move. Kone is a much better fit as more of the pressing forward type, while I still maintain AAH is more of a last shoulder/in behind type.

How much could we get for Al-Hamadi then? on 10:48 - Jul 31 with 2539 views | Churchman | He’s played in the Championship and did well on loan at Stoke. 23 years old. If League One Kone is £5m worth (didn’t look all that from the Wycombe games I saw) then AAH has to be £3m minimum plus a decent sell on percentage.

Yep. I think we are starting to/will see the 'player trading' really kick in for the first time this summer. It's incredible to think really that we could conceivably make (if we wanted to) over £20m profit on disposal for squad players. Shows how far we have come. Broadhead - £7m Al-Hamadi - £3m Woolfy - £5m Taylor - £1.5m Johnson - £5m

He's been heavily linked with PL clubs post U21s Euros and he started 31 Ligue 1 games last season. If Woolfy does go, It's going to very difficult to buy someone for the RCB role, who is happy to compete for minutes with the captain of the club unless it is obviously a huge step up.

Kipre can fill the RCB role. Possibly keep Baggott to cover

It's a great point and I think those prices are probably a fair bit undercooked (bar Broady given thats reported). Ali - Good comparison is Josh Coburn who is the same age as Ali and featured in just 23 Champ games last season (scoring 5 goals) and just went for 5M+ to Millwall. Woolfy - Good comparison is Mark McGuinness who is only two years younger than Wolfy and went for 10M + add ons last year. Wolfy has gone on to not only play in the PL but be more than good enough as well as start the majority of games for n automatically promoted side. Taylor - We paid 1.5M for him! He's now a Republic of Ireland international who featured in 32 PL games last season. Good comparison is Lewis O'brien who just went to Wrexham for 5M+. He's the same age as Taylor, played 16 Champ games last season, 25 for Boro the season before and featured in 13 PL games for Forest the season before. Johnson - No great comparison from this summer but with 4 years left on his deal and the fact he would only be moving to the PL, surely it's more than 5M? [Post edited 31 Jul 11:29]

We would be mad as an automatically competing side to go in with Baggott as our 4th choice CB. If you forget that he's an academy player for the minute. If we signed a CB from L1 Blackpool who featured in just 22 L1 games least season, would you think that is good business by the club? He has to have a full season under his belt before we even contemplate it IMO.
How much could we get for Al-Hamadi then? on 11:33 - Jul 31 with 1870 views | homer_123 | Tolouse have never spent more than around £4m for a player - I don't see them breaking that for AAH. At the moment, he's worth more to us than any other Club as we are very short on strikers. He's still raw but there is a player there so any Club is buying potential. I don't see us entertaining letting him go until we get someone in.

I did say possibly. Bear in mind that Kipre can cover either of the CB roles so he would in effect be a third choice CB

I think 2m sounds about right, but maybe add a sell-on clause if he does increase in value.

How much could we get for Al-Hamadi then? on 21:34 - Jul 31 with 293 views | Nthsuffolkblue | I think Al Hamadi is our next Keiffer Moore. Everybody thought he was not good enough but he went on to have a very decent career at a decent level. I would quite happily see him stay here as 3rd choice or go out on loan rather than sell. I don't think it is fair to judge his future on what we have seen from him so far. Alternatively, if we do sell, I think we need to maximise the sell-on clause.
