It's possible I suppose that one or two players cried off late in the day, and the only other player who had travelled was Button.

I can't imagine there's any point to having two keepers on the bench, rather than just naming fewer subs, other than a little bit of communication of "we need bodies" from McKenna to Ashton. |  |

Yes, think I'd prefer Baggott at centre back with Young at left back and Kipre or Woolfenden at right back then playing Davis. He's one player where we have barely any cover at the moment. Even O'Shea or Greaves should be risked over Davis. | |

Is it choice or necessity though? As far as we're aware, there's no reason why Cajuste, Matusiwa and Akpom aren't in the squad - and arguably Broadhead could be there too. I suppose Matusiwa and Broadhead could have picked up knocks. |
