That tweet literally names his replacement. Akpom can also cover up front and the 10 role. I imagine we'll want a right sided player if Omari goes and then another striker still, as well as a CM and left-back to bolster the squad. |  |

These are the ten at present, obviously will need a replacement/s for the last two if they go.

Real shame, absolutely quality player but financially there's no denying it makes sense. Hopefully get some movement on Omari quickly too and we can focus on bringing 3 or 4 players of real quality in over the next couple of weeks. |  | | |

Financially yes. What about if his replacement who cost nearly twice as much continues to offer only half the contribution when he’s on the pitch? Then we potentially lose out financially in the long run and in football terms.
Hopefully that position will change and we find the player we thought we were getting with Clarke, but that’s far from guaranteed. |  |

10 million if true is unreal money for Broadhead. Really like him as a player, he can be a bit inconsistent and have issues injury wise, and i think that's why the money is so good. If he was more robust and a longer contract he would be worth more that that. |  | | |

We've got squad limits we have to meet. Akpom's flexibility means he can cover both a number 9 slot and one of the number 10/wide forward slots. Without that, we'll have too many players for a 25 man squad. | |

Smzodics can also play left so we have Jack Clarke, Philogene and Smzodics all for that role plus Omari (I believe he may have played left for U21s).
