How has he suddenly gone from being somebody nobody on here had heard of, to being the messiah in a couple of weeks?

At best surely he's a raw young player with lots of potential, not somebody likely to have huge impact on the first half of our season even if he came.

Don't get me wrong, the idea excites me too, but perhaps it's been decided we need more guaranteed immediate impact than he's going to be able to supply.

I actually think KM adds to our balance nicely and will be seen as a decent signing before too long, perhaps not the stardust we are hoping for, perhaps a bit more than we might have thought, but nonetheless has the ability to help us very quickly and in a positive way.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

I thought McAteer played well on Saturday, barring his wildly mis-hit shot at goal.

Everything he has done for the club. How he developed players like Burns, Omari, Hirst, Davis, Chappers, Delap and on and on. Even seasoned veterans like Morsy and Luongo have credited him taking them to another level. The guy had us playing football we've never seen with genuinely new ideas and ways of doing things from the keeper to the front.

And YET cressi, from his sofa can wipe clear 2 seasons of pure joy and success and throw it back in the guys face and worst suggest he turns creative players into something else. Utter utter disrespectful rubbish.

But each to their own.

It's all gone very quiet , we desperately need a goalscorer .

Egeli sounded like a good one to go for , with Millwall's Ivanovic a decent alternative , but both seem to be looking unlikely .

So maybe we are in for a young player from a Premiership club .

Leaving it this late is crazy .....no goals from open play surely means we need some goalscoring addition to the squad , since we have lost 3 important players who score goals and I don't see much goal threat in our midfield .
