Delap has already displaced Jackson, there is no chance in hell he would be loaned out, especially to the Championship.

Truly impaired.

Even if he was available, I'd be against it.

If we're loaning players, they need to be ones for whom a deal can be done if we get promoted this season, otherwise we're back to square one.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

I can’t see it, but it would be a sensible play by Chelsea. If they want to challenge for trophies they need players of Isak’s level. Pedro is fine, but I don’t think Delap is ready.

Yeah i get the Jackson bit. But with isak. Pedro.. where does he then sit?

Of course champ may not be where he goes if he does. But I do wonder where he may end up as can't imagine he'd be happy being third choice?

Clearly never going to happen and would be lunacy from a career perspective to come back down.

After your sensible posts earlier, this is back to the Frimmers we love :)

If he's in their 25 he'll be more than happy enough and will get enough chances. Nothing to suggest he won't be at the moment.

Chelsea are a lot higher on Delap than some of our fans are for some reason.

Whatever it is it’s not been fully released to the dealers yet. Might well be homemade!!

They could loan or sell him to Newcastle as part of the deal would suit everyone except Delap maybe.

Very outside chance in January perhaps, if things go a bit flat for him in the next few months.

If he’d picked Newcastle he’d be their main striker now. Chelsea were such a basket case decision to opt for (notwithstanding his previous playing under Maresca)

There you are, then. Loan with option to buy for 10 million when we get promoted

Absolutely no way he goes to the Championship. If he's loaned out, it'll either be abroad or to a mid-table Prem club.

Indeed. Should they get Isak though that would undoubtedly push Delap further down the list. Maybe not enough to push him into a possible loan though, granted. I didn’t think that through in terms of their squad, but I don’t think he’s quite ready yet.

You don't think a PL would be snapping him up on loan IF he was available (which he won't be).
