Was walking down Key street with the kids after going for 1 drink in Town after......crossed over Key street to the docks and we saw Egeli with a friend going into his home. He was very happy to have pictures with the kids and a little chat. We then proceeded along the docks and was then luckily enough to walk besides Cajuste until he got to his home, once again he was happy for pictures and a chat. All these years and never seen any players walking home and then we see 2.......and on derby day.....brilliant!!!

Because we have some strange stalker folks. Could you possibly amend and retract flat mentions.

I can imagine some taking that info and lurking

Obv upto you. Not my board lol. But think it would be wise.

Do we really have strange stalkers lurking to follow Town players?

I’m guessing that a lot of present and ex-Town plsyers have lived around the waterfront area. Especially the younger ones, as it’s quite nice and near to a few bars and restaurants.

I think there are a few flats around the docks.

Think Sindre is safe!

Think all places of residence down the docks are flats but I've changed the wording. The fact Cajuste was strolling down the front past Issacs would suggest he's happy to be seen, maybe even wanting to be seen and cause some excitement amongst fans. He could have got a taxi home for example but chose to walk. I'd say being a player for our club in it's current standing make the players a nice comfortable amount of famous....if that makes sense.

Can imagine there was a bit of wanting to walk through town post derby win and soak up the atmosphere.

Can't imagine how gratifying (if that's the right word) it must be for them to see the effect on the town

Aye, I saw him too; though to be fair, everyone walking towards Cardinal Park after a derby win looks like they’re heading to claim their win from the pools coupon. Half the town’s out there strutting like we own the place. Egeli probably just wanted some air before inevitably being blamed for traffic congestion and low morale in Woodbridge again.

That said, if the man can’t stroll home without it turning into a local manhunt, we’ve officially crossed into “Where’s Wally: Suffolk Edition.” Next week someone’ll post, “Anyone else spot Chuka buying hummus?” and it’ll hit 1,200 views before breakfast.

Sad times.

I mean there was 2 photos, from different people, of his car.

Not really that weird, wasn't 1 person following his every movement. Had that been the case i might agree

I shall now list all my personal encounters with Town players. Never managed to speak up and say hi (or offer a high five) unless it was necessary for the circumstances.

I used to see Bent and Ambrose fairly regularly in Kesgrave Tescos when they lived in the area.

Jason DeVos in Copdock Tescos.

Carlos Edwards taking the kids to the same Primary School as ours (we also looked around their home when we were looking for a new place and he was on the way out).

Trick or treated Andy and Jordan Rhodes home when they lived in the area.

Delivered Sainsbury's order to Arran Lee-Barrett back when I was a driver for them (delivered to Mr Phil Ham once, too).

Walked past Chaplin and Mass in Ipswich Town Centre one lunchtime last year in the off-season, not long after promotion.

Darren Ambrose currently frequents the same gym as me near to where I work.

I could dine out for years on these stories, right?

I can't rival that I'm afraid.

Though Steve Sedgeley lived in my house when he first signed, and I did once walk through Christchurch Park a few steps behind SBR and have sat next to Johnny Wark at an Ipswich Boys Brigade prize giving ceremony. I was surprised that I was taller than him.

A couple of people posting opportunistic photos? That's a long way from stalking.

Not something I would do, but lets not go over the top.

Romeo Zondervan and his family stayed on the campsite I was working on in south-west France in 1996.

He played for us in the weekly campsite courier match against the French. He scored a goal, had an assist on my goal, and we won 7-2.

Possibly the best day of my life.
