At this time of year when a lot of the shops and supermarkets and internet sites are all geared towards Christmas. It really bothers me when Father Christmas is referred to as Santa Claus.
Father Christmas just sounds much more jolly and welcoming. And I’ve never really liked the name Santa Claus and it bothers me.
Are there anymore small things or issues that bothers anyone? And by small, I mean quite insignificant that doesn’t bother anyone? |  | | |  |

Pigeons.
I dislike them far more than I should - basically cos they eat grass seed whenever I try and sort out my lawn.
No one else seems to share my dislike for them - I am literally battling the bastards all alone, but it's a battle I won't back down from. |
Watching a male pigeon puff himself up and dance around in circles like Mick Jagger to woo a female, only for her to fly off unimpressed is one of life's little hilarious pleasures.

That’s probably an Americanism, and works over there as Thanksgiving is bigger. It’s all one long holiday season from Halloween, through Thanksgiving, Christmas and then New Year. When we were there we put our lights up in mid-October and took them down 3 months later (kept them up longer as they looked good in the snow!).  kids loved it |  |

Kind of true except one local store near me has 25 foot high inflatable goblins and witches competing with even bigger inflatable Santas.
For whatever reason, this year in my ‘hood there’s way more people decorating their houses for Halloween. Orange and purple lighting everywhere. | |
