1. Butter. Inspired by Churchmans awful sandwich thread. I've never appreciated butter. I do get something that's considered healthier but when I've had butter on a scone, I just dont get it. Prefer something that spreads too.

The ability to unlock your car or open the boot automatically from a long way away with a key fob. I don't care but I know others really like this. |
Specially when they cost about £400 to duplicate or replace.
On the same theme - digitalised cars where the slightest electronic failure, like a door or steering wheel lock, window opening etc., is a £500 repair. *There was nothing wrong with non-computerised cars* and ordinary keys that you inserted into locks.
Digitalised cars are just a massive con by the car manufacturers to extract stupid amounts of ££££££ from customers. Biggest rip-off scourge of the century, and unforgivably destructive of the environment. Grrrr! 🤬 |  |

The current fad for referring to (eg) the Nineteenth Century as the 1800s.
The 1800s started in, well, 1800 and ended in 1809. Otherwise the 1820s were in the 1800s and that's plain ridiculous.
It's a modern phenomenon and the likes of Janina Ramirez and Alice Roberts use it constantly; if they did it in my presence I'd be unable to maintain a diplomatic silence.
