 Bizarre.

We won but point still stands imo.

Jack Clarke, Jack Clarke on the wing….

In terms of the way McKenna has/is clearly tweaking the way we’re trying to play, then he was 3rd choice in the pecking order and rightly, wanted to get game time elsewhere.

Easy to say that when Szmodics and Akpom are injured though.

 | Chaplin decision looks worse and worse game by game. on 20:39 - Oct 25 with 2429 views | Bugs | | I watched Pompey last week via their club stream. The commentators seemed to insinuate (as he was being subbed off) that he hasn't been all that good for them and were hoping he would come good for them.

If you take the blue tinted glasses off, he hasn't been close to his best for us for 18 months before he got loaned out, either.

Don't get me wrong, I love Chaplin. He is a good player, and probably more importantly a fantastic human being. But he hasn't been close to top form for a while.

Should have sold Sammy and kept chappers

Sammy S has never suited kms football

Problem is. Who ever bought Sammy would then probably get 20 odd goals from him.

 Who has?

Sammie? Greaves? O’Shea? Mcateer? Ogbenne? Hirst? Taylor? Akpom? .., Johnson? .., anyone? Anyone at all?

 What’s the common denominator?

Ashton got his boxing selfies though.., some ego that, when your added value is …, erm .., yeah.

 Says it all. EGO.

but thats modern football thesedays, youre part of a squad, we rotate, some of you will sit on the bench, some of you will get subbed, some of you are back ups, I dont get why people dont understand that, there really is no such thing as a first 11 anymore.

he just needs a goal, bit of confidence, and he'll be fine, its a shame he got injured as he was so close to scoring there, and that was probably the period we created the most for the next 70mins of the game.

I think we'd have seen a very different game with him on the pitch.

There is a first and second player for each position though, and clearly Chaplin was behind SS and Akpom.

So his likely game time was quite low.
