Sounds like he has justified that signing of a new contract.

I'm chuffed for him. Good player.

Tenacious, passes well, not afraid to put his foot on the ball, and he's got a crunching tackle in him.

Great to see him making his mark. People wrote him off in pre season last year and this.

Fair play to him. Really taking his chance.

The two Jacks both bossed the game. Grabbed it by the scruff and made things happen.

Yup, I've been one of his biggest critics, but he was awesome today. Let's hope this is the beginning of a good run in the team for him.

Yep..

I was surprised he survived the cull. But now this side would look worse without him.

I'm firmly in the camp that wrote him off, but fair play, he has been excellent in the last few weeks and absolutely bossed it again today.

Clear MOTM and a great performance. Hopefully he follows it up with a good 20 impact from the bench against Wrexham!

Nice bit of power and steel with him in there and he can play too.

Great to see

Delighted for him (and for Town). I spent a long time wondering whether McKenna had made a wrong call signing him. There was a big sense that the club progressed faster than he was able to but now we might be in just the right place for each other. I am sure all those players who got experience of the Premier League will benefit from that and Taylor got a lot of appearances.

Maybe some players just need to be given a chance, in the right place in the team.

Yes very similar. My thoughts are that he has been here a long time and not come close to forcing himself as a regular starter but a decent squad player. I'd love to see him kick on now. I didn't think he would but I'd love him to prove me wrong and a good start since getting back in.

He's been with us a while now... I think he knows what KM expects from a player, in terms of running the tank dry...
And perhaps he's got a tiny bit of Morsy DNA in him, from his time with Sam.?
That spiteful little edge, at times. Which is needed, in controlled measures. Imo.
I thought he might be off in The Summer, tbh. But he's turning out to be an important cog in the machine.

Likewise, he is looking good this season his finishing against Watford aside.

Absolutely bossed it. Great energy, good decision making, he looked really sharp.

Clarke himself did very well to win the ball for our 2nd, just noticed that on the highlights.

It's more that he's taken over the Massimo role perfectly since he's come in to the team. Fills in for Leif very well which is crucial to how we play.

Hands up, I didn’t think he’d do as well as he has. Well done Jack and the coaching staff. Keep it going!

Since starting in central midfield he’s played well. The more he’s played, the better he’s looked.
