If only it was. Apparently noncing (or at least partaking in the abuse of sex-traffic teenage girls) is absolutely fine. It would be nice is we valued people as much as secrets, but here we are. At least they can hopefully get him for something.

Al Capone was jailed for tax evasion. Sometimes you have to take the small wins. Misconduct in a Public Office is a serious offence. Here is an AI summary of how things stand: Misconduct in a Public Office (MiPO) is a serious common law offence in England and Wales, triable only in the Crown Court, carrying a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. It involves a public officer wilfully neglecting or misconducting themselves to a degree that abuses public trust, usually resulting in custodial sentences. Key Sentencing Principles: Threshold: The misconduct must be serious, often involving dishonesty, corruption, or sexual misconduct. Custody: Convictions very frequently lead to immediate imprisonment. Factors Increasing Severity: High level of responsibility/rank, breach of trust, and serious detrimental impact on public confidence in the institution (e.g., police). Legal Framework: As it is a common law offence, it is not defined by statute, though recent proposals suggest a 10-year maximum under a proposed statutory definition. Related Consequences: Offenders may face confiscation orders under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. I'll add: It is very important to note that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is presumed innocent until proven guilty, and that nobody should post anything which might pre-judge or jeapordise live criminal proceedings. Charges against Andrew include being a paedophile, a nonce, a perv, a slot badger, a two pin ding plug, a bush dodger, a small bean regarder, a unabummer, a nut administrator, a bent ref, and the crazy world of Arthur Brown.

it's more about what evidence the police have that they consider justifies an arrest. clearly for misconduct in public office it has passed that threshold, for other things it hasn't. it all needs to be evidence led not online accusation led.

Well it could be argued that "misconduct in public office" was betraying his own country by selling secrets, when you are in a position like he was, might once have been considered treason. Against his own Mother (at the time). Not long ago this could have qualified for the death penalty. I can't see any charges ever being brought in this country regarding his involvement with Virginia Giuffre. Guess we would need further victims to be identified that are prepared to make statements for any noncery charges to be made. Just being named in a few emails or seen in a few strange pictures is unlikely to cut it.

Is there any evidence at all to suggest involvement with under age people? If not, its probably not ideal to keep muddying the waters with it.

And seemingly nothing concrete in terms of prosecuting in the pipeline As I posted separately UK looks to be set to prosecute Andy and Mandy, and they are certainly disgraced In the US nothing apart from moving Maxwell to a low security and nice prison Do hope the UK lack of tolerance spreads to the UK I mean any other president would have surely stepped given the on record close and long term relationship with a paedophile, and now proven lies about him being booted out of mar e lago

Cheers. It sounds like they could haul him up on any or all of “dishonesty, corruption, or sexual misconduct”! This is going to be a fascinating watch. I wonder if there will be wider implications regarding the role/existence of the Royal family. I can’t see us being a republic any time soon, so probably not - I suspect they’ll just regroup. He does need a fair trial if they decide there’s enough evidence to prosecute, which will be difficult given all the publicity.
