I know there are strong feelings on all this but I don't think there's any need for the personal abuse.

I had to come back and have look when Farage graced the halls of Portman Road, just to see what this place would be like.

It’s not failed to deliver, some iconic tantrums.

"Farage" and "graced" really ought not to be used together in the same sentence.

Ordering chips with curry?

On a serious note, there’s never any call for personal abuse.

Hopefully, he’s been advised to go for a long lie-down for his own mental well-being.

The spectacular, pitiful, scattergun and sustained meltdown over the last 72 hours was actually morphing into something quite uncomfortable.

Its Waveney if you dont mind.

Im annoyed that I resorted to that response, Ive been trying not to react like that.

Don't worry, I think I'm probably done to be honest, this place really isn't for me anymore. *no flounce, just a serious realistic decision

All the reasonable people left Twitter too and look what that’s like now.
Stick around, take a break if needed.

Sometimes a break isn't a bad idea. Too much Twtd can be bad especially if it's winding you up.

I spent a couple of months not going onto general for the same reason.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Don’t worry about it- I did a flounce once, disappeared for 6/7 years, came back and carried on posting like a knob head. Don’t get so worked up over nothing, everyone on here is a relative stranger and almost everyone’s a total knob head.

Yeah, but there's junior knob heads and then there's a1 card carrying "knob head club" founder members.

You need to take a break from here.

It can easily become an addiction to keep checking back to see what someone has said to you (or about you) and then going into battle-mode with the bits you don’t like.

I say that as someone who has allowed a few posters to get under my skin over the fifteen years I’ve been on here.

Some of them have thankfully gone now, a few still seem to have more lives than an alley cat.

If you break it down though, you’re just squabbling with a few tosspots you won’t ever have to interact with in real life, especially those that happily announce their identity during pre game bevvies in the away day pubs.

Life’s too short to waste spending more than ten minutes a day squabbling on here.

Agree, personal abuse just plays straight into the hands of those who instigated it in the first place.

Book a slot in your diary for a squabble on here after the Birmingham game.

I’m pessimistically going for a dismal draw that reflects Mark Ashton’s continued toxic existence here, allied to our failure to recruit a striker in January.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough will probably thump someone 4 nil.

If I’m wrong, I expect and demand a lecture from you regarding my woke leftie negativity and entitlement and if I’m right I reserve the right to call you a pathetic, right-leaning happy clapper…

Life was so much simpler a week ago.
