Fell asleep during the first half. Perhaps it's the times the games take place but the whole false bonhomie and the ITV commentators sat in prime Brooklyn splendour just grates with me somehow. Also the titles for both ITV and the Beeb are third-rate.

Although I haven't watched much of it, I have been pleasantly surprised how competitive it has been. I expected a lot of the lesser sides to be put to the sword but most have done themselves proud already. I still suspect there will be few shocks with regards to the top sides being knocked out in the first round but am beginning to wonder if I will be wrong about that. |  |

Group games are hit and miss. Enjoyed Switzerland V Qatar. Brazil V Morocco.
But that England game had everything how you fell asleep I don't know. It was swinging both ways the first half, then the coach came out at half time saying players were too much Chaos. Lots to analyse then a great game second half. Could have watched it for another hour more. |  |

It's been OK so far, despite my initial reservations, but I've enjoyed quite a few of the games.
Not much of an atmosphere at most games though - well, not coming through on TV anyway.
I have to say, I'm impressed with size and quality of the US stadia - I had no idea they had such great ones out there. Football is obviously more popular out there than I thought. |  |

I don't know, the PL is far better quality but much, much less exciting.
The tempo has been fast, not too much set piece/long throw nonsense and it seems to me a better standard of player behaviour than we see domestically and at previous tournaments. (although I didn't watch Argentina.............)
I'm loving it, and most of the new countries have done themselves proud.
I just wish third placed teams couldn't get through.
