The guy looks so driven, which is why he plays for England and Real Madrid at 22 , some don’t like that. By all accounts a lovely guy off the pitch.

Yeah, he does come across as petulant. I suppose it must come from a fierce desire to win, which is probably a superpower too, and he’s far from the first player to be like that. It doesn’t stop him sometimes appearing like a spoilt brat though if things don’t go his way. I suspect that makes him hard to warm to for some people. He seems fine in interviews though, which suggest he is ok off the pitch and it’s more his ‘game face’ (for want of a better phrase). |  |
