The minute the new agency was announced it was clear he was off, they are notorious for getting deals for their players and they are very good at getting very good deals for player and the agency

What ever clubs are showing signs of cash, he'll be put in touch with

Yep they are.

I think it's a shame but that's football.

"Wants out"... really? Tbh I never really thought he was ever truly " in" at Town.

Cheerios if true. Good luck and we move on probably to a better player.

Not exactly new news, the writing’s been on the wall since he got a new agent.

Depends if someone will give us the money we want given that he’s unproven in the Prem.

Good imo, his heart was never in it and he'd be found out when judged against the work rate of Maeda

I don't think that's fair, i often felt he pressed more than Clarke did.

Well...I wonder who their source is? Probably his new agent. He's a bit of an enigma is Jaden, never really fitted in with Villa and to be honest I don't think he really fitted in with what KM called the 'team ethic', as Smodizc was labelled, the guy always looked dead miserable. A bit of an introvert really, which is fine, but it doesn't really fit in with a modern day footballer.

Agreed. Never looked part of the crowd. Never stays long anywhere. Not sure who pays what we will want for him though? Hull City ? He was there before, but are they willing to splash that amount? Turkish clubs said to be keen, but they don’t have that sort of money.

Nope.

He’s never a premier league player. Get our money back and use it for someone else.

I find with Jayden that he often looks like he's being forced to play the sport. If he scores then he's happy in the moment, but other than that It kinda feels like he's a kid who's been forced to do Karate because that's what the parents wanted.

I would try keep him until January. We will know a lot more by then and the main fact is letting him go we simply need to find another player and I am pretty sure we already have enough players to find.

No problem with him leaving, at all.

Talented boy, but too inconsistent, at that was at Championship level, was miles out of his depth in the PL.

Begging for a move through the media like this is wild.

Ridiculous.

Not sure where this notion about him not working hard has come from, very lazy opinion people just throw about willy nilly. Do you think Kieran Mckenna is picking a player every week who is lazy.

Why keep him if he wants away? And come January he's bound to be worth less and might be hard to move on.

We've known for a couple of weeks at least so we should be looking for replacements. Get it done and move on.

A decent % of our fan base share this view and I really don’t understand why.

I understand his body language can sometimes look disinterested but Jaden’s numbers show he is one of the hardest working players in the squad.

Against other championship wingers (almost all of whom will be defending more frequently than Jaden)

Philogene ranks below:
92nd percentile for interceptions
88th percentile for recoveries
86th percentile for possession won in the final third

Can certainly argue that Philogene doesn’t create too much for others, but he’s one of the best in squad with his off the ball work.

I would not normally condone a player staying at Town that does not want to be here, but, we have very few players as it is that can play in this league and he is def one of our better players.

I don't rate him really really highly but this is where we are at right now.

I think it's very sad. He joined the club in January 2025, got injured in February 2025 and missed the rest of the season. Missed the first couple of games of the new season, Played well at home and scored some important goals for us before getting injured again in January this year. Came back for the final few games and we were promoted.

The club is now back in the Premier League and you would think it's an ideal opportunity for him to push on with his career. To be it just reinforces my belief that he vere really wanted to come here in the first place and never looked happy here. He went missing in the dressing room celebration video and didn't bother turning up at the end of season dinner to collect his award for goal of the season.

I suspect you might be right Glassers. He seems a bit of a troubled soul; never seems to settle, or be allowed to settle, anywhere. I fear for him really. He'll earn a bucket load ans never need to work - but will he be happy and contented?

I might be being yellow dramatic, but seems to me like he needs some decent advisers around him, not those who hawk him around like a bit of meat.

Echo the thoughts of many others on here that it will be a shame to see him go but if he doesn’t want to be here then we need to let him go but for an appropriate fee. I don’t know him personally or anyone who does but, as others have said, he always seemed to be a bit on the outside of everything and not really happy here. Only seemed to come alive with the ball at his feet but unfortunately suffered a number of injuries which hindered his progress.
I think the change in agency was purely a step to get a move but I am unsure if the agent has his best interests at heart apart from financially and he might end up being a journeyman without ever putting roots down but making his fortune. Will that make him happy, I have my doubts
I don’t get the impression that him being unhappy will upset the squad as to be honest there are plenty more dominant personalities in the squad who will keep it level.

Absolutely with you here, his running is superb and he’s a very gifted player but…if he’s not 100% committed to the club, team, squad or whatever, it just not going to work.

Gutted but if we get good money, so be it, we do need to trade ultimately anyway.

We’ll probably never know the truth and he doesn’t seem the type to bad mouth either as he’s just so anti attention (other than when he scores)

Yes, I'm pretty sure it did.

SSN are either rehashing old stories in order to generate some clicks, or the initial reports didn't move the needle, and his agent is trying again to drum up some interest.

Yes, the change of agency obviously didn’t do the trick lol. Best if he goes. We don’t want players here who don’t want to be here.

Even that last paragraph I’d disagree with. I can remember him putting plenty of good balls into the box but he never got any assists because our strikers could t hit a cows arse with a banjo for most of the season.

People say he was poor last time around in the prem but he was parachuted into a crap team that was already going down with a whimper. He was very unlikely to hit the ground running.

He’s hard working, surprisingly strong and is capable of scoring a worldie, so I’d be delighted if he stuck around as I think he’d be a big asset for us in the prem. But if he wants out then so be it, I wish him well

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

Maybe that's just his personality. Introverted, shy, expresses himself best on the football pitch. Not very sociable. A different character from the usual brash, laddish front that footballers often put on.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Depends what the desired outcome is

Whilst it could indeed be wanting away

It could also be agent lead in regards to getting Philogene a massive pay increase aswell as a very nice agent fee alongside it.

'Team Raiola built its entire reputation on a fierce, player-first negotiation style that systematically extracted massive new contracts, massive pay rises, and lucrative signing-on fees from football clubs. Founded by the legendary super-agent Mino Raiola (who passed away in 2022), the agency weaponised transfer windows by threatening free agency or manufacturing bidding wars to force clubs into giving their clients ultimate leverage'

If he wants out then let's move him on, I'm not convinced we'll be able to turn much of a profit though. What has he done in the last 18 months to raise his value? Is a non-English club really going to shell out £35m+ for him?
