GWS Benters Always annoying for those who love the outdoors to be in bloody hospital when it's sunny outside!
No need to worry about the drought, it'll start raining the minute you get out
Thank you all for the messages and what have you,I am touched (not literally but you know what I mean).I’m not allowed to be touched for 6 weeks or drink any alcohol for the same amount of time.
Last Wednesday I had Heart Surgery and had a Mitral Valve repaired.We did talk about replacing it,but a beautiful Italian woman surgeon,who speaker liker thisa said once I get in there I will repair it if I can.So that’s what she did,I’ve seen pictures of it working it reminds me of my old Grandfather clock movement.
It was a bit frightening as when they wheeled me down,my surgeon came out of the theatre running past me waving,someone explained to me they had an emergency and I’d have to go back to my room.So I said balls to this and walked back,the people running the ward were in shock to see me doing that,but I did go down at 1600 and came back round at 2200.I had the night in ICU and by 11.30 the following morning they had me sitting in my chair on the ward again.
Regarding the view I seemed to get lucky with that,what ever ward or room I had I seemed to get a decent view across open fields and The Thames,I could see people walking dogs etc round the fields,and I could see Ships sailing on The Thames.There seemed to be plenty of rolling countryside as well.
But strangely enough as I’m so used to being outside a lot of the time I positioned my chair so I could just sit and look out of the window,I was the only one out of four beds to do that.
They wanted to send me home Sunday,which I was up for,but I still needed a few X-rays and tests doing,but they came and saw me Monday and told me I could go home at 1600 hrs.Which I did.
So a box of M&S biscuits and a tub of Heroes with a nice card was provided at the desk on my way out.

Actually I had a young Indian 🇮🇳 chap shave my entire body,arms legs torso but not my crack or sack.
The majority of the Indians were bloody nice people as were those from the Philippines 🇵🇭 and Thailand.
Your Italians 🇮🇹 were very nice as of course were those from dear old Blighty.
There were a few from well I don’t know where they were from,who were grumpy lazy fkrs,even something like a jug of fresh water was to much trouble,so I ended up getting it myself.
