£265k a week and has spent most of the past few seasons out injured?

Cant believe I’m saying this, but no ta.

I'm with you, mate. Plenty of red flags with this one. We need availability and durability more than anything this season.

Is he paying for him!

Yep, all out of his own money and he’ll be taking him home at the end of each day. He’ll be his own personal Jesus

….not that it would ever happen, but I’d genuinely prefer Embolo (or similar).

As well as the money and injury issues Jesus would have nothing to prove if he came here.

I’m still holding out for Ashley Barnes.

Reports on line suggest he is not currently injured, if we got a season out of him and he fancies it then that surely is a good thing.

Total gamble.

Not bad for 20M although isn't he on about 200k per week wages?!

Surely we just give him a loaf of bread and a fish, then he sorts out the mega bucks from that ?

I don't like how quiet it's gone on Embolo. At least with Palacios we know there's an issue reaching an agreement with Leverkusen.

I pretty much spaffed myself when Enciso signed.

Let's just hope that, as Portman Road is a temple, Jesus doesn't come in and throw out the Philogenes...

The news of Embolo only came out a couple days ago in fairness, hopefully more news around how close it is today.. Same with Palacios

I'm with you on the wages although when it comes to injures lots of Leeds fans didn't want Calvert-Lewin because of his injury record, 14 PL goals later and playing most games they aren't moaning now - although he was free

Embolo is what I think we need, big strong, can hold the ball up, but Jesus is class and a proven and actually quite good pressing and would link us up, but that means we would be building a team that wants to hold the ball more.

I'm not sure we're good enough all over to do that.

Perhaps it's just another part?

When does it all end?
Jesus
Palacios
Nwaneri
Embolo?

Note that Nwaneri would be U21, so a free space....

Perhaps we get all 4 lol

His age doesn't matter if it is a loan, he still counts.

Yeah I'm not exactly sure where Jesus fits in our system. Does he have the physical presence/nous to play as our 9? I don't think he'd be as effective a focal point as Embolo, for sure.

It's do-able, if as a loan-to-buy. I'd structure it like this:

Loan fee: £3m
Wages: £3.2m
Obligation based on staying up: £17m

Win-win for all parties.

He's in the last year of his contract so I can't see how a loan with an obligation would work.
