But what he fails to actually fathom is that in that same period we were also playing some bloody good football. And the better side.

Still remember walking in London about 2007-2008 and him walking down the street with his arms around 2 very attractive woman. I did think twit, but fair play!

Doesn't that just describe 99% of talksports lineup? Much the same as sky sports news nowadays. It's all just clickbait media!
| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 23:02 - Sep 14 with 2792 views | gainsboroughblue | I'm convinced that Talk Sport presenters draw a load of nonsense and deliberately inflammatory sentences out of a hat to read out on air in order to get reactions. It really is the lowest of the low in terms of sports coverage and 'discussion'. 20 odd years ago, it wasn't that bad unless I was more blind to it then. [Post edited 14 Sep 23:03]

25 years ago I’d listen to it a lot driving to and from work round the M25. It could be irritating but it was ok. It isn’t now. Jordan is the worse of them. Unpleasant and full of the brown stuff. That Jim White? Grates on me with his dopey over dramatic opinions. The rest? Zzz The only time I laughter was the day after we were promoted and Jason Cundy was ridiculing his co host for arrogantly bigging up Spurs with the usual big six entitlement despite stinking the place out. I rarely listen to it and it’s certainly back to another station if red faced gasbag Jordon is burbling away. [Post edited 15 Sep 9:08]

| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 06:49 - Sep 15 with 2072 views | WolfieAtTheBack | If we start considering the opinion of Simon Jordan and/or Talksport we might as well pack it in now. What next are we going to praise Jamie O Hara for his feedback, not a bad word said for Cundy given he is a Blue deep down. | | | |

| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 09:09 - Sep 15 with 1577 views | _CliveBaker_ | Typically of him, he likes to exaggerate the truth. I don't think we played particularly well for the first 25 minutes or most of the 2nd half, but we had a good 10 minute spell either side of half time. I guess he needs to be OTT to attract the clicks though. | | | |
| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 10:11 - Sep 15 with 1412 views | Vaughan8 | He's quite opening said he thinks O'Neil isn't very good so he can't go back on that now and say we played some good stuff. I don't mind him too much but he does exaggerate things and talks some guff! | | | |
| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 10:15 - Sep 15 with 1394 views | DanTheMan | We had: - More passes - Better passing accuracy - More passes in their half - More touches in their box - More accurate crossing So... yeah. | |

| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 11:13 - Sep 15 with 1194 views | ThatMuhrenCross | Compared to your average Premier League side, obviously we are going to look quite poor. Even when we win games, we have to expect that we'll probably be dominated for large periods. That's normal for a promoted side. This season is not about being easy on the eye - it's just about getting enough results to keep our heads above water. If we do manage to do that, I suspect next season will be much the same, but perhaps with a little bit of extra quality to it. Palace have been a Premier League side for over a decade - damn right they should be the dominant team in a game against us. We still won though, didn't we...! | |

| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 14:15 - Sep 15 with 873 views | ITFC_Essex | Getting upset with Simon Jordan's takes is a bit like being upset by what Chris Sutton says. A waste of your time. He's a Palace fan, he would say that, I expect Alan Brazil would have had a different view as he's one of us. | |

Ah, but giving a less ‘edgy’ view wouldn’t generate as many clicks. [Post edited 15 Sep 14:32]

A bit harsh on Sutton. I’d happily sit and have a pint with him, whereas I’d move pubs to avoid Jordan. Sutton is obviously budgie/flavoured marmite, whereas Jordan comes across as quite an unpleasant person.

| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 15:52 - Sep 15 with 577 views | SWLondonBlue93 | He's a bloviator so not really fussed what he says, but I prefer hearing someone making salty comments after we beat them than praising us after we've lost. | | | |
| Caught a bit of TalkSport earlier and SImon Jordan on 16:05 - Sep 15 with 535 views | muccletonjoe | Yes we gave the ball away just as much as palace. What you wont hear from Jordan is the fact we also played quite well for healthy periods and managed to keep 11 players on the field while doing it. Game , set and match , I'm afraid old boy. | | | |
