Excellent, an old geezer post..... on 17:09 - Oct 22 with 3391 views | Bloots | ....I've been taking Cod Liver Oil and Turmeric for a few months now. I suffer with "old man's back" and various general aches & pains. The back issue has improved considerably, whether that's a result or not, who knows. Vitamin D supplements are generally a good idea for old codgers.

Anyone on here take any health supplements? on 17:44 - Oct 22 with 3336 views | Ryorry | Vit D3 one-a-day (recommended by GP as my levels were massively down in Sept 2018 despite lots of outdoors work & sunbathing that glorious summer) Iron (borderline anaemic), Calcium (osteoporosis), Magnesium (supposed to be anti-cramp, but can't say I've noticed any difference.

Anyone on here take any health supplements? on 17:57 - Oct 22 with 3321 views | Mullet | I've sold them, taken pretty much everything and there are a few which are scientifically proven to do what they say. But most are 1-5% improvements for a lot of people. At the minute I'm back on an everyday multivitamin and cod liver oil supplement as I'm at such a high risk of germs and obviously COVID. I also take ZMA at the moment to try and get some sleep. For ayone interested I know the bloke who owns this place and he's a decent guy and I use them now. They usually do some good offers and the stuff is high quality. I'm not an employee or on commission unfortuantely. https://www.bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk/

You don't know what colds/bugs/other health problems you might have had if you hadn't taken the D3 tho, Debsy.

And there seems to be a strong correlation between severity of covid symptoms and how much vitamin D is in your blood. No proof because they haven't had time to test it but a strong correlation. It's worth doubling up just in case.

Anyone on here take any health supplements? on 19:47 - Oct 22 with 3124 views | tcfc | I’ve taken 7seas multi vit’s, high strength cod liver oil ( Arthur Ritus ) and high strength Vit D for about 10 years and never had a day sick since. Gotta say not sure on the oil for the joints but on the off chance it’s helping, I ain’t stopping. Turmeric never helped. For the cost involved, I highly recommend the Vit’s and the extra Vit D.

Anyone on here take any health supplements? on 23:40 - Oct 22 with 2917 views | Kropotkin123 | Don't just randomly take vitamins if you don't know if you are deficient in something. You can cause imbalances in what you body naturally produces. Instead, go to you doctor and get screened properly. If they won't do it, do something like blood tests. I'm fit and healthy. I eat well. But I did the basic blood tests through medicheck and found that one type of cholesterol is too high and the other is too low. They recommended increasing the amount of oily fish I ate as an easy fix. Best to know your body before add more concentrated amounts of vitamins and minerals. [Post edited 22 Oct 2020 23:41]
