It’s real. It looks bad yeah but I think if this was someone else, nobody would read into it quite as bad. He leans down and seems to inadvertently grab his daughter. I don’t think it’s as dirty as it looks.

As for the OP.. I know people will be angry and disgusted and want to shout stuff all him in the street. But there’s a time and a place. Shouting at Andrew here doesn’t do anything other than disrupt the funeral (sort of) of a 96 year old woman. She can’t do anything about the actions of her grown up son. It’s very undignified to blacken her name on a day such as this by choosing that moment to say that.

That said, I don’t like him. At all. He’s a disgrace.

As if he’d leave his mum’s spare bedroom to actually protest in the real world.

I actually found it a little weird how many people were desperate for that clip to be real and seemed to be enjoying it a bit too much. It's hugely disrespectful to his daughter if nothing else.

The blokes an absolute wrong un and should 100% be made to own his mistakes, but I'm not a fan of bringing innocent people into it.

I'd have thought the best scenario is he forgot who was next to him. But yeah I suppose you're right that people will read more into things just because it's him. Looks a bit dodgy tome though!

I think personally he shouldn’t be allowed in the public eye and should count himself lucky he even got to go today with some abuse hurled at him.

He’s a PoS, and the doubling down by royalists to explain away his actions, that the Queen helped him bung away, is making me gradually lose my patience with the public fairytale farse we’re being presented.

At the end of the day, some convicted murderers are allowed out for funerals. He’s by law innocent.

So stopping the bloke from attending his mother’s funeral (again it’s only sort of a funeral today ain’t it) is abit harsh.

And again to clarify I’m not defending him and in no way do I like him. I did like the Queen though for some of the stuff she did for horse racing. We (the racing world) were lucky to have her as an ambassador for out sport.

It’s a PR angle to get back into favour with the public. Test the water.

If he had shown some remorse for his actions maybe I’d be a bit more open to the idea of him in public life, but he hasn’t. He lied, hid from justice and had Mummy bail him out to protect the family’s already damaged reputation. If the general royal supporting public buy this crap it’s only gonna result in more division. He lost his right to do public things, he can mourn when the cameras are off in private.

It is funny how the reason you like the Queen is another point on the long list of why I feel the opposite, but that’s a side quest I CBA with today. I’d rather call out the public unwittingly becoming apologists for a nonce!

He’s probably watched what Johnson got away with the last couple of years though and is clearly giving it a go.

Already yesterday we’ve seen the goal posts move a bit in favour of Andrew on here, only myself and XYZ actually bothered to challenge said poster. Seems a lot of our more vocal feminists only seem to care if it’s a stick to beat trans folk with 🤷‍♂️

Exactly this.

If he'd of been dealt with properly by the authorities and the royal family then he wouldn't be there to be heckled.

Andy Pandy has shown no remorse whatsoever - he’s tried to weasel and lie his way out from taking any responsibility for his abhorrent behaviour. He is a disgrace and simply paying off his accusers and hiding behind mummy’s protection shows what sort of person he is.

I agree that it’s a low PR stunt, within the next couple of days he’ll be shaking hands with the public. He obviously wants to become an active royal and those people shouting the protestor down will have played their role in maybe making this happen.

Yep surely better to clear your name in court you’d have thought, rather than throwing a huge bung from a very secretive cash pile.

Benefits of being rich, powerful, and the hereditary right to opt out of any laws you don’t fancy.

That said the event isn’t about him (and I say this with republican leanings).

Naa I think even the most ardent Royalist knows it’s over for him.

Wasn’t it Charles that had him stripped of his titles and stuff? I doubt we will see much of him, if anything at all after this funeral.

Clear case of assault there too, will be interested to see either of the men who put hands on him will be charged.

I don't really see the point in these protests as it makes the viewpoint look like a crazy lunatic fringe and normalises even more of the weirdness being indulged this week.

The fact it causes such embarrassment speaks volumes about the privilege and hypocrisy.

I think in this circumstance it was surely better for him/them to just pay her to go away though - even if she had a 1% chance of winning the stuff that would come out in court and the constant updates etc. with the glare on the royal family would have been bad news (and it was a civil case so losing just meant finding more money).

That him and Epstein and everyone else on their disgusting venture won't ever see justice is an absolutely vile reflection on how money rules everything, and the real injustice is that the victims didn't get their proper day in a proper courtroom.

Of course it's over for him. To suggest Andrew attending the funeral and vigil of his mother as a PR stunt is frankly, stupid.

That's not, but the whole 'don't worry folks, Andy's going to look after the corgis' thing?

That was a PR stunt so crass even Paul Lambert would this twice before employing it. He's definitely going to be chancing his arm over the next few weeks and months.

Maybe the Corgi thing is just a bit misunderstanding and the Queen said she wanted them taken to the groomers.

I don't think so. He was basically humiliated by his siblings today. Of course he should be there for ceremonials around his mother's death. But he was strikingly in civvies, not uniform like Charles, Anne and Edward (Andrew has been stripped of all the honorary colonelcies etc that would entitle him to wear military uniform.

And when walking out of the cathedral, he was alone at the back. Normally I think they'd have been in order of age, but his was left behind like a billy-no-mates.

Charles will behave to Andrew like Michael Corleone did to his treacherous brother Freddo.
