Despite the bedwetting on here.. 01:34 - Dec 6 with 6813 views | The_Romford_Blue | We are actually top of the form table for the last six games. Good teams get results when they’re not playing well. So for us to be unbeaten in six is perhaps a statement we’re still the ones this year.

Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 03:18 - Dec 6 with 4076 views | Illinoisblue | Imagine how soaked beds would have been in our 91-92 promotion season: five draws in a row followed by 3 straight defeats (12th Oct to 16th Nov).

Bedwetting OVER late goals. There you go.

Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 09:03 - Dec 6 with 3741 views | itfcjoe | I get people are obsessed with ITFC, we all are, but there seems even less looking at other teams to see how we compare. We need to be better than 22 of the other teams in the league over the next 26 games. First 10 games - 21 points Second 10 games - 21 points Currently on course for 97 points Even when some are talking about a blip now we are top of the form table - no team will coast to promotion. If we are top of the form table and having a blip, what is everyone else in the league doing? There are always areas that need improvement, and we will be striving to do that - but the club isn't allowed a bad half by some fans, Fleetwood were better than us in the second half, and it still took a lucky goal to get a point - that's the first time at PR a side has outplayed us, it happens.

Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 09:08 - Dec 6 with 3717 views | RobTheMonk | We just don't want the scenario of being in the last few games of the season wishing we hadn't conceded a load of 90+ minute equalizers in mid season / throwing away two goal leads. It's becoming the norm and needs addressing. Form is good, as you say, but there is a need to be able to see out a game. [Post edited 6 Dec 2022 9:58]

Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 09:09 - Dec 6 with 3716 views | clive_baker | I think it’s just frustration at some specific things we’ve seen play out, namely late goals against us costing us points. I’ve never really seen much value in looking at an arbitrary set of 6 games or whatever, the fact remains we’re 2nd in the league and have a great shot at promotion. There’s loads of reasons to be positive. That doesn’t change the fact that people can’t be disappointed that we’ve dropped 4 points to very very late (and avoidable) goals in recent weeks. Of course that’s going to be frustrating.

I doubt there was a single town fan who wasn't fuming at the end of the game on Friday, that's normal and understandable. But you've got to step back and look at the bigger picture in the following days and be reasonably happy with where we're at overall. We've only been behind 4 times all season so far. 4 times. We spend so much time leading in games that it is inevitable we'll lose that lead sometimes. So yeah, swear at the telly, kick your seat, whatever it takes when we do mess up, but we're still doing fine.

Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 09:24 - Dec 6 with 3612 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | Even if we get to the January transfer window and we are say 6th in the form table I think that we would still be ok. Just need a few solid additions. A striker, I think TJJ is a big big miss. Was just coming in to his own. A Winger, Celina would be great. Hopefully Evans will be back by then, If Camara isnt, a CM. We will have Aluko back, Greg Leigh, Harness in Feb time. We will be very strong from January onwards.

Oh 100%. Seems like there’s a modern football fan who can’t seem to distinguish between ‘balls, that’s a sucker punch / mistake / annoying’ and ‘it’s all going to sh1t, he’s the worst player that’s ever lived and the manager should be sacked’. It’s pretty tedious really and some of the flouncing is embarrassing but I do think the lions share of people are pretty balanced and reasonable, just disappointed we’re not 4 points better off in recent weeks.

Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 09:47 - Dec 6 with 3524 views | Bluroo | It doesn’t need to be overanalysed. We’re up at the business end of the table with an injury ravaged squad as we approach the halfway point in the season. We have owners with the resources and confirmed intention to strengthen the squad for the second half. I’m positive that’ll make the key difference. Given the tiniest bit of luck and additional quality we could easily have taken more points off the likes of Bolton, Barnsley, Sheff Wed, Charlton and Fleetwood, Promotion looks very much on imo.

I think it seems like there's a lot of bedwetters because there's really one Frimge lunatic who can't wait see us have any kind of set back so he can post his latest pre-prepared hot take. Most of the time, the points he's Makin can be easily dismissed. [Post edited 6 Dec 2022 12:48]

Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 10:06 - Dec 6 with 3437 views | ghostofescobar | No doubt we are having a little dip, compared to the very, very high standards set during the first month or two, but exactly as you say, if we are having a dip and we’re still second, plus top of the form league, then that’s encouraging. We have players coming back over the next 6 weeks, probably a canny signing or two in January, so part 2 of the season looks promising. Also, other teams will be stretched by injuries as the season wears on and we should weather that a little better.

Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 10:59 - Dec 6 with 3262 views | Hipsterectomy | It’s frustration from needlessly throwing games away with the fact we’ve been doing it for at least a decade. How many times under Keane were we 1-0 up and comfortable to them lose 2-1 within the last 5 minutes. The rest of the league being a joke doesn’t take away the fact we are throwing points away

The rest of the league isn't a joke though. There are two other teams that are on track for 94 and 99 points respectively at current rates. Both of those will throw away points and gain points they don't deserve to as the season progresses, and whisper it quietly, but so will we.

I'd say this is the strongest League One there has been for quite a few years, particularly at the top end.
Despite the bedwetting on here.. on 11:47 - Dec 6 with 3109 views | itfcsuth | Any negativity at all regarding this football club right now is absolutely nonsense, the trajectory of this football club is only going one way, we have a structure, management team and stable squad that is deserving of being in the top 2 of the division right now. You always get some helmets with a bit of negativity on Twitter, but you have to just laugh at it and scroll on. Won 3 drawn 3 if I am correct? I think we have stumbled against Cheltenham and Fleetwood, where you would have thought we'd pick up maximum points, but had really good wins against Derby and away at Exeter and Port Vale where draws maybe wouldn't have been a shock. Of course we are thin on the ground in certain areas of the pitch, but that's the way it goes sometimes, we have a tough little run until January (posh, Wycombe, Oxford and Pompey) - but if we stay in and around the top 3 come January it will be fantastic.

Aluko is 'back training with the group'. Given the intensity of our training this usually means the player is not far off being ready for some match minutes. Wouldn't suprise me if he is on the bench by the Wycombe match. He's ahead of schecdule.
