Is there a limit how many lemsips u can have? Writing is is too small on the leaflet to even try and read.

It's basically two crushed paracetamols isn't it? So probably 4 a day. I always get the aldi equivalent which is way cheaper.

Each standard sachet contains 650mg of paracetamol and 10mg phenyeprine. Recommended adult dosage is no more than 4g a day paracetamol and 60 phenylephrine. So, recommended limit of the standard Lemsip would be 6, which would give you a total daily dose of 3.9g paracetamol, which could be argued is (very) mildly suboptimal. Lemsip Mac is 1000mg and 12.5 mgs, which would be 4. Personally, given the costs and the fact that you're basically drinking slightly medicated hot lemon squash,I'd still go with the hot rum and ribena option and buy cheap boxes of tablets, tbh.

Better than cocaine! :-) But only just - and I wrestle with my conscience as I know I'm helping to fund the awful Red Bull F1 Team, but on the other hand I'm also funding Danny MacAskill....

Man flu cures on 19:46 - Dec 14 with 1849 views | SlippinJimmyJuan | Make sure you drink lots of water throughout the day. I also used Lloyds' own brand lemsip as I don't drink squash, added a spoon of honey and it went down pretty easy. Apparently you are not supposed to take this if you have high blood pressure. If you've got a lot of thick mucus, then I'd recommend gargling salt water whenever you feel like your throat is getting a bit too sticky. I'd never done that before but it really helped shift offending articles. I also took Benylin mucus max, not sure how much that helped but I did have really trippy dreams. Mine is almost gone after three weeks or so. Never had much of a cough but the mucus and snot was 'orrible, as well as the sinus pain in the face. Last few days I have started having mild, occasional sharp pain in the chest. Based on recent ECGs, and the type and severity of pain, I'm not too worried about my heart, but obviously something to keep an eye on. Never known a cold kick my backside quite like this one did.

How often do you "alternate" between the lemsip and scotch?

He’s wasting time when he could combine. Putting the Lemsip IN the scotch is a bit of a thing apparently. Lemsip in mug, add a good slug of scotch and top up with hot water.

Sorry, that was what I meant. Should have been lemsip/alternative (cold and flu medicine) plus scotch etc

Please do not do that, anyone. It was my following the same advice from someone else decades ago which contributed to the permanent damaging of my gut.
