How much do you think Adam Armstrong will cost? Do you think he is a realistic option for yiu?
1) he might not even leave Saints now they’ve been relegated.
2) there will be bigger suitors for him than Ipswich (and Bristol City - if we were in for him…we aren’t). The pecking order in the Championship is quite tough to negotiate, Mark Ashton will know that, and how frustrating it can be to be waiting on players only to find them go elsewhere.
As for Yates, the time to have gotten him was summer 2021, but Blackpool got promoted, which put a premium on him. If he goes, it will be around £3m, someone allegedly has bid £2.5m already.
He’s a good Championship striker, playing in a poor side. He would be ideal for lots of Championship sides. |  | | |

2.5 to 3 I think is about fair, 4 is the we don't want to sell him so make us a silly offer price.
I think he's a good solid championship player who would be a good shout for any mid table side and may even excel with the right players around him but 4 definitely feels over the odds still.
I can see any striker being a loan for a young PL striker if we can't who we want, which I imagine is Hirst and 1 other | |
