Absolute PR disaster for them. They've tried to dampen down rumours but have sloppily amplified them by several thousand times. Astonishing.
I have little or no interest in the royals but this is quite something!

How are they saying they've manipulated the image?

If it's super-imposing the princess onto the photo, then yes. At no point does the social media message 'from' the princess suggest that's an up to date message, though. Perhaps leaves it for others to presume as much.

The more you look at it the more errors that are obvious. It has all the hall marks of ai image generation.

I think the suggestion is that Princess whatever her name is hand has fallen off and her Mum has removed her wedding ring in reaction to her husband's sexual preferences.......or something! God Save Us All.
