No whispers, but I wonder if the fact that the recent remakes of old Umbro kits didn’t include the 92-94 home shirt (white sleeves, red laces) is telling.

From what I read after this season's kits were announced, this season's ensemble was to be the last of the retro-inspired bespoke designs from Umbro.

I'm reading that as meaning that we're back to picking out of the Teamwear catalogue for 24/25 onwards.

That said, I don't get the rabid obsession amongst fans for 'bespoke' kits. I'd much rather have a good-looking catalogue job than a bespoke dog's dinner.

Not too concerned about what the new kit(S) look like each season
The badge is fine as it is, just never liked where it's red
A happy compromise would be to keep the current design, just where it's red, a return to yellow

...& most definitely, Umbro, please stop hiding our three stars round the back of the shirt like we should be ashamed or embarrassed

Whoever designed that black kit needs to design another one. Then redesign a good chunk of the casual wear to make it more modern

Nah. They'll do a home kit, a second kit, a (pointless, not needed) third kit, and THENNN, a "blackout" kit in addition. Because that is apparently "a thing".

Personally I think we should wear blue unless we're away and our blue clashes with the opposition, but I am too old to be relevant.

I suppose if funds are needed for the space age Cobbold replacement, this is no bad thing. I'll still be wearing me Fisons anyway, and how anyone else spends their money is none of my business!

If you compare a successful season kit where we mimicked the Premier League kit of 2000/2001 against the Magical Vegas awful kit with red sleeve stripes, I think players like to wear a good kit. Its important. I want a good standard, we don;t want a bad kit in our first return season in the Premiership.
