Guthrum's Calculated Final Table 12:15 - Jan 14 with 3020 viewsGuthrum

Not the normal "Estimated" one. This is produced by multiplying the 6-game form thrice (or 2 x 6 + 7 for Everton and Liverpool) added to the current totals.

Not to be taken too seriously, just a broad guideline based on recent form.

Liverpool have drawn a number of games recently, Forest haven't, just wins.

...other than the unflushable turd that is Everton surviving again, but I could just about cope with that, I think!

Indeed, that is a dream table in every way. We stay up and above Spurs, Manu down, Forest win league, that would be amazing

The only Muff in Town.

Forest storming the league and Man Utd going down would be funny indeed. Neither of those are likely, methinks, but as you say, not to be taken too seriously

Your table does show that - you know what? - we might well just pull this off. We're slowly but surely building into this season in a way that our rivals are not really. Add the opportunity for January strengthening, the morale boost of a rare Cup win, a clean sheet, players coming back from injury... we might just do this!

And I think Man City finishing 8th without any PSR punishment is a lot funnier than them finishing 8th because of PSR punishment!

This is similar to what I'm doing here, where I extrapolate the 6 and 10 game form.

Where might we finish at the end of the season by SuffolkPunchFC 31 Dec 2024 17:22
I guess I have too much time on my hands over the Xmas break [rolleyes]

Looking at current league position/GD/points, and then taking recent form for the last 6 and 10 games, results in these final tables.

A very simple analysis I know, but not implausible.

Fair play to Forest. You can't argue with 24 consecutive wins.

Love this. My highlights.
• Ipswich staying up
• Forest winning all they games and Liverpool not losing one, despite playing each other today.
• Man United getting relegated
• Southampton setting a new record low points tally
• Ipswich finishing above Tottenham
• Arsenal losing just two games and finishing 4th.
• Fulham losing just 4 games and finishing 9th.
