What happened to the centre line flags? I haven't just noticed they've gone but I've been pondering the big issues in life today and for some reason they crossed my mind.

When did they go?
What else has gone from the game?

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I was trying to explain Neil Gregory to my son the other day. The idea of a striker justifying his place on the bench by being a half-decent goalkeeper is so alien to modern-day football he just didn’t get it!
