They really struggle as competing in the same market as the 'big six' but their payment strategy is nothing like the others in terms of salaries. I feel for them. I used to live in Newcastle so know how passionate their fan base is and they really are a fantastic club but they are loosing out to the likes of Man U as they pay £120 a week and Man U can pay £300 and with many footballers its the money that wins
