I envy you for that Meadowlark. I love Lindisfarne and have seen them over 25 times now, but only saw them the first time in 1987. To have seen them in their raw, long-haired prime would have been a dream come true. | |

It was the Be Stiff Tour at Leeds University Refectory on 4th November 1978 but if you are talking about a headline act, it was the Jam on 12th November followed by the Clash on the 18th: the dates of all gigs there are up on the Leeds University website.
I never subsequently saw two such iconic bands as the latter two in such short succession. [Post edited 7 Dec 2025 16:40]
