Starmer is threatening to resign his seat to cause Burnham an embarrassing by election , so not much chance of that happening.

This will be our 5th Prime Minister in 4 years. I wonder who we are getting next year if the polls aren’t looking good. Remember when we used to laugh at the Italians for this sort of thing?

If his name didn’t rhyme with stuff so easily Starmer would probably have kept his job for longer.

Fortunately for Andy “cynical career politician” and “bit of a fraud” are not as catchy as “two tier” or “free gear”. Starmer has actually been growing into the role a bit. If he was a football manager his second country job would be much more successful than the first.
