I'm not sure I believe this. The only reason for any club to want PL in right now in his career would be the club connection. Sadly, I mean that. There's no other reason to go out to get PL. He's not been successful at Ipswich, hasn't been successful in years, and his personality eventually turns prickly wherever he goes.
